Role Overview
As a Solution Architect – Security at Driven, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process, focusing on designing and proposing our cutting-edge MDR (Manage Detect and Respond) platform. This role demands a deep understanding of security architectures, advanced security skills, and a strong pre-sales engineering background. SIEM, XDR, and SOAR experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise and Solution Design:
- Develop and articulate comprehensive security architectures using Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
- Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the value of our security solutions.
- Design and propose tailored security solutions that meet clients’ business and technical requirements.
Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and craft appropriate security solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on security best practices and emerging threats.
- Present and discuss Driven’s managed SOC and NOC offerings with customers.
Technical Leadership:
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, security threats, and technologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and pre-sales team members.
Collaboration & Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, security threats, and technologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and pre-sales team members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network security and solution architecture, with a focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
- Experience in selling and working with XDR, SOAR, and SIEM products.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco security products (e.g., ASA, Firepower, ISE) and Palo Alto firewalls (e.g., PAN-OS, Prisma Access).
- Proficiency in network design and architecture, including LAN/WAN, SDN, and cloud security.
- SIEM experience is required.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security certifications are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
