Network Analyst II

Role Overview
The Network Analyst 2 will design, implement, and support Cisco LAN, WAN, security, voice, and wireless network solutions for customers. This role will assist with network assessments, gather technical requirements, analyze existing environments, and contribute to network design activities.
The position will create and maintain network diagrams, support low-level design documentation, assist with project planning, and ensure successful implementation according to defined technical requirements and standards.
The Network Analyst 2 will configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, phone systems, firewalls, and wireless networks. This role will support existing customer installations, perform configuration changes based on customer requirements, troubleshoot network issues, and prepare technical documentation and customer presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and support Cisco LAN, WAN, security, voice, and wireless network solutions.
- Assist with network assessments, requirements gathering, and solution design activities.
- Create and update network diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, phone systems, and wireless technologies.
- Support customer network environments and perform configuration changes based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, project teams, and customers to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present technical information to customers through documentation and face-to-face discussions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless, and security solutions.
- Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, network troubleshooting, and enterprise network environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support customer-facing technical discussions.
Certifications:
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are a plus.
